When I got sick with what I thought was a sinus infection that did not respond to the usual antibiotics, I kept trying to find someone who could tell me what was wrong. I kept being told my headaches were caused by stress. It took a year and three doctors to find the one who knew almost immediately that the serotonin levels in my brain had dropped so low that it triggered the pain receptors in my brain and gave me 24/7 migraines. Too many doctors don't care enough to believe us when we tell them something is wrong. You're right--it's "hormones." But when men say they're sick, they are far more often believed. Good luck and keep looking for that doctor who can help.
