The Size of a Woman

Many years ago, I saw an article in Readers’ Digest titled “Women’s Place in Society,” and I was shocked and stunned. Would you ever see an article called “Men’s Place in Society”? Of course not. Men ARE society. But aren’t women, too? Who’s “society”? Aren’t we all, men and women, “society”? Then who gets to tell women what their “place” is when we make up 51% of that place? Who makes up the rules for women?
