No. He came here to me. I wouldn't have gone to Texas, but he had lived in North Carolina before and liked the climate. I had just moved down here 6 months before after having lived in upstate New York (think Canada without universal health care) for all of my 66 years. I moved here to be close to my children, so we spend time with my kids and their kids. He is very happy, and so am I. I am such a Yankee, though, that I never imagined myself with a Texan!
