My mother couldn't stand to have me in her kitchen, so I never learned to cook. I bought the Betty Crocker Cookbook and taught myself, but it was never something I enjoyed. Now my husband cooks, but if he's not in the mood or isn't home, a sandwich or a bowl of cereal is fine with me. I guess it's all a matter of taste (pun intended.)
