My house is 20 years old, and I'm pretty sure these are the original appliances here in the kitchen, so that makes them 20 years old. The dishwasher just died, so the stove and refrigerator will probably not last much longer. I get the simplest models, so there's less to go wrong, but I agree--they are not made to last.
