Let’s Look at Birth Control Logically
I know logic isn’t popular, but let’s do it anyway
Let’s say a man and a woman have sex. We can say that because as I’m writing this, there are probably many men and women having sex. It’s very popular.
Not all sexual encounters result in the woman becoming pregnant, but the possibility is almost always there. In case of pregnancy, men always have a choice. They can walk away, perhaps having to pay something for the child’s upkeep or not, depending on the situation. The woman has the choice to take him to court if she wants. Even if he’s a husband, he still can walk away.
The woman cannot walk away from a pregnancy. She’s knocked up. She has an alien growing inside her. There have always been choices she could make.
Abortion is a procedure that has been an option since the beginning of time. Laws sometimes have made it illegal, but there were always underground, back alley, or chemical ways to end an unwanted pregnancy.
Then a wonderful thing came along called contraception. Condoms had been around for centuries, but men tended not to like them (they dulled their sensation) and condoms weren’t fool proof. Some fools didn’t use them correctly.
