I've never been an editor, except for grading 1,000's of essays and research papers over my 34 years of teaching writing to college students, but, except for spell check, Grammarly should be destroyed. A basic knowledge of grammar and word usage should be taught to every student. It's part of a basic education. I'm 70 and know I'm "old school," but knowledge can't be replaced by a machine.
