Politics are not helping

I make it a rule not to worry about things over which I have no control. There are times, however, that that policy becomes very hard to live by. The current political situation in the U.S. is an example.

I am a bleeding heart, snowflake liberal. I believe in freedom of choice for women, the equality of all of us, no matter the color of our skin, our religious choice, our place of origin, who we love, and the right of all of us to vote and have that vote count.

I grew up and lived in upstate New York, and even there, we all knew Donald Trump was a cheating liar who put subcontractors out of business because he didn’t pay them. I never could understand why people put microphones in front of his face. Claiming to be rich does not make your opinion any more valuable than anyone else’s.

I went from eight years of being proud of my country to be plunged into being afraid my country wouldn’t survive. I knew if Trump won a second term, we would never have another election in this country. He lost. He lost. HE LOST. Hint: He did not win the 2020 election.

The definition of “poor loser” in the dictionary now has Donald Trump’s picture next to it. If you don’t like the truth, just don’t accept it. Convince a lot of other people not to accept it. Rile them up, pick a date, and get…
