I was a strawberry blonde as a child; my blond darkened as I got older, but I was always a blond until I was in my early 50's. The hair framing my face has gone white, but the rest of my hair has gotten so dark, it looks almost black. I am amazed that my hair got darker (except in front) as I got older. I'm 71.
