I used to have to go outside to smoke and would be forced to listen to students' conversations. I began to worry that the only word they knew was f**k. I told my students to expand their vocabularies. Heck, I miss "damn." I used the word to teach the parts of speech, since it can be used as almost all of them. Enough! Any word repeated too many times becomes annoying. It is time to move on to some other word.
