I, too, am a Christian, but I'm going to give you something to think about. You believe God is omnicient, correct? And you believe that souls are immortal, right? Then God would know that a group of cells is not going to become a baby and would not put a soul in it. Even if He did (which He wouldn't) souls cannot be killed. God knows what He's doing.
