I Still Have More Questions
Why is Memorial Day weekend the “unofficial” start of summer when summer actually starts in the middle of June? I kind of understood it when I lived up North, and summer was short. My father used to say if summer was a Saturday that year, we’d have a picnic. He also said summer in New York was two weeks of poor ice skating. But down here in the South, we don’t need to rush summer. Spring is beautiful; summer can be weeks of too hot.
Who invented “white” dogs? And why is my “white” dog filthy minutes after a bath, but my black and white dog’s white stays white?
Why can I get solar panels and all the stuff I need for them for free, but my electric co-op doesn’t participate in the program?
Why did my property taxes just go up $200/month but my retirement income and Social Security didn’t? Why do I make “too much” money to be able to take advantage of the senior discount?
Why did the IRS not tell us we needed to correct some things on our return? If we’d owed money, I bet they would have told us fast enough. And they charge interest if we don’t file on time. I’ve been waiting since February for my refund. Do you think they’ll pay ME interest?
Why would Jewish space lasers waste time on California wild fires when there are really good targets they could pin-point? Margery Taylor Green would be a good start. I would think if she really believes in them, she should be worried.
