I lost my best friend to cancer 11 years ago and haven't had a close friend since. I moved 3 years ago 12 hours from "home" and figured I'd make friends through work. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a job. I have my husband, two cousins, and my sister to talk to regularly, so I'm not totally alone, but I do miss having a best friend.
