I have to admit I was surprised to see a man's name as author of this article. My doctor for many years was a man the same age as my son. I told him if I had any problems, I'd talk to him, but if I wanted to talk about menopause, I'd ask for his mother's number. I'm not surprised to hear doctors aren't taught about it. Most medicine is aimed at men.
