I Don’t Want to Spew

But I’m afraid I’ll burst if I don’t

I was so proud of my country in 2009 when Barack Obama took office. I was over the moon when he was reelected. I felt my country had made progress. We were going in a good direction.

Then the pendulum swung so far in the opposite direction, it flew off the clock all together. One of the things you look for in someone you hire to do a job for you is some knowledge of the job. I don’t hire an electrician to do plumbing work. I don’t hire a car mechanic to teach an English class. And I don’t hire someone who not only doesn’t know what the job I’m hiring him to do requires but has no interest in learning and would rather tear my house down than do any repair on it. That’s what we got with *rump.

I didn’t want Hilary Clinton to run for president; she had too much baggage, but I voted for her anyway. I didn’t want Joe Biden to run for president because I felt there were better candidates — like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren — but I voted for him anyway.

I didn’t want Biden to run for another term, because I felt it was time for a younger person to take over. Again, I will vote for him, because I would vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is.

I am terrified about what may happen in this next election. I know Biden will win the popular vote…
