I don't understand people who back politicians who say we should get rid of Social Security, Medicare, and Unemployment Insurance. Those programs help people. I know, because I've used all three (not at the same time--the UI was when I was laid off at work. I'm retired now.) Why don't they back politicians who want to stop giving handouts to big corporations who already make big profits? Their thinking makes no sense to me.
