I absolutely agree with you 100%, but I'm sorry it took you so long to find out. I was raised to become independent, and while I always took my children's welfare into account, my needs counted, too. We all survived their childhood, and now I'm a grandmother and a great grandmother, so I guess I did something right. And I lived my life, not theirs.
