Who are they kidding?
Abortion. Leave it up to the states. Total abortion ban. Abortion only in cases of rape or incest. Abortion ban after 5 weeks, 6 weeks, 12 weeks, the first trimester. We don’t allow abortion to save the life of the baby or the mother.
“Democrats want abortion up to and even after birth,” says the wannabe leader of our country, telling the umpteenth lie of his career. No, that’s called murder, and that’s against the law in all 50 states.
So if a woman wants (or needs) an abortion, all she has to do is go to the nearest state that allows them. Unless the state where she lives starts monitoring pregnancies. Or keeping records of women’s periods. (It’s been done before, through doctors’ offices.) I can see State Troopers on all roads out of state stopping cars and demanding females pee on sticks before they can go visit Grandma in the next state.
Do we have “Happy Conception Day to You” parties? Who knows what day they were conceived? Can we declare fetuses on our taxes as dependents? How many natural miscarriages are there a year that even the women who have them don’t know about?
And how many women can take time off from work and go for a jaunt to a state or two over to get the health care they need? Who will watch the kids for the single Mom?
