I don’t remember exactly when I started writing on Medium, and I’m too lazy to look it up, December 3, 2020, but I do know I’ve covered two Christmases, so it’s been a while. I’ve written about all sorts of things, some humorous, some less so, and published on different platforms. This will be #244, and I think that’s a good time to look back.

You will get to know me better by seeing which pieces I think are my best, either because I liked the message or I liked the writing. Sometimes when I finish an entry, my mind goes, “Ah-ha,” and I have a feeling of satisfaction. I’m least proud of my rants because they were just to get something out of my system. But some of them made me feel proud, and a voice inside said, “You done good.” I’ll just link to a few of those, oldest to newest.

https://medium.com/new-writers-welcome/the-more-you-know-the-more-you-know-how-little-you-know-51a70dc3240 is the first one I really liked. It tells of a theory I’ve held for years: the more you know, the less you talk about it. Stupid people brag about how smart they are. Smart people know how little they know. So they shut up about it.

https://medium.com/new-writers-welcome/things-i-dont-understand-913f7c57536f I have a series of stories about things I don’t…
